Darn impressed since this is my first attempt at working with either vector or Illustrator from the beginning to the end. Well, I pnwd the presentation that I did this for anyhow. Maybe I should offer an explanation: I am currently taking a class that is called "advanced illustration" here at university, and the students attending this class is mostly graphic design students. Apparantly they do not have any demands for work samples before you start studying graphical design. Pity, they should have. Because in my humble opinion I, quite frankly, pwned that presentation. I was expectating to walk away crying and totally shed of all further dreams of any advancement in the design field. Wel, seems that I still got some of the ol´spark left.
The artwork itself isn't much to talk about. It's a bird. The restraints in this assignment was that we should depict an animal. Well, I did. I'm just proud that I managed to master the tools. And the GD-students. Not that they didn't do a good job. I just fell that i PWND them. Just my fifteen cents. And minutes in the spotlight.
I didn't expect anyone to actually respond with the specific breed You didn't by any chance submit a photo of your bird to the site Stock exchange? If that is the case, well, then it's your bird in the picture. That would be a strange coincidence.
